S.he stylezone Quick'n Crazy Nail Polish [323 - 795] Review
By Maychiri's Thoughts - March 30, 2023
The next nail polish is the S.he Colour&Style Quick'n Crazy
Nail Polish, in the shade 323/795.
I got this nail polish purely to see what a S.he Colour&Style nail
polish is like. I don’t really like S..he Colour&Style; most of their products are
low quality (others would be more blunt and say rubbish), and because they are
also very affordable, that makes people think that cheap = trash. Which of
course isn’t true, generally speaking. So I guess the well had already been
poisoned by the time I bought this polish. But let’s try to be objective and
see what it is really like.
Packaging: a small cube shaped clear glass bottle with very
thick glass. The text on the front is silver, reflective, while the rest is
white, which is a good choice for this particular colour but might be hard to
read on lighter colours. The cap is ridiculously big compared to the tiny size
of the bottle. It is rectangular and metallic gray, which is cool, but is a
magnet for fingerprints. It can be closed so tightly that I legit have trouble
opening it. This is a very simple design for a nail polish bottle, but it’s
alright.

Ingredients: no nourishing ingredients. The harmful trio
(DBP, toluene, formaldehyde) is absent, too. The scent is like most nail
polishes, but it is very, very, intense. It’s also faintly sweet? The
expiration date is 36 months after opening.
This polish has an interesting colour: it seemed more
pinkish on the online shop and in the physical shop. It looked like a slightly
peachy pink. In reality, under neutral light, it’s actually a peach colour,
with almost no pink tones in it. The pictures really don't do it justice. I am not complaining; peach looks very good on
my particular combination of skin tone and undertone. It’s great for most
neutral undertone skintones, from fair to medium, I’d say. Although it might
also look good on dark skin, it would definitely pop more! This is a very summery
or late spring shade that is actually quite pretty!
The brush is a small brush that is flatter than most, but
isn’t really a flat brush. It looked like it wouldn’t be enjoyable to use and
that it would get polish everywhere, but that is all actually wrong! The small
size of the brush allows it to be terrifically precise; indeed, there was much
less nail polish on the skin surrounding the nails than usual, and I wasn’t
even trying all that hard to be precise! This small size might be too small for
people with larger nails, but since I have tiny nail beds this brush actually
ends up being almost the perfect size. It picks up a ton of polish, so do tap
off the excess before painting your nails! It deposits polish evenly, making
the whole process of painting nails very quick and easy.
There is one thing,
though: it seems like there’s a frayed hair somewhere, because it left a
hair-like streak on one of my nails that wasn’t the easiest thing to fix. All
in all, a really surprisingly good brush, definitely not what I was expecting!
The formula of this polish is actually really good! It’s
quite gelly but also totally smooth and silky. It’s incredibly easy to use due
to its silky formula, so nails look intensely pigmented and voluminous. The
formula is super easy to spread across nails and even easier to make even. One coat is roughly 80% opaque, which is enough to be worn
like that, but if you want to you can add another layer, which will make it
100% opaque. It’s lovely and thick but not too thick. No, it looks gelly, almost
like vinyl. Never did I think it would be this good, honestly!
Durability is average. It started chipping on day 3 of
wearing it, and only got much worse until I removed it. It was in really rough
shape by day 5 of wearing it, and it was quite ugly, to be honest. At least it
didn’t get scratched up; if there were any scratches, they were really minor
and hard to see. It really needs a top coat to keep it in at least somewhat
good condition. I really didn’t expect it to last all too long, so I wasn’t
disappointed.
Removal was pretty easy, though I did need to rub more than
usual to remove it. It isn’t too bad though, it comes off pretty easily if you
press and hold a remover-soaked cotton pad instead of just rubbing it.
All in all, it’s an okay nail polish. While the colour is
really lovely, the brush is fantastic and the formula is truly amazing, the
longevity leaves a lot to be desired. It is worth saying that the formula is
much better than a lot of more expensive nail polishes, it’s super silky and
just wonderful to use! And the brush, while not a typical flat brush, is
actually incredible and extremely precise. But the poor durability ruins it.
Sure, I might’ve been expecting it to be meh, and it actually turned out to be
mostly that, but I tried to be as objective as I could on forming my opinions.
So, I could just say: “nah, don’t bother, it’s rubbish just like you’d expect”,
but I am not going to, as it is not rubbish. This is far from being that, trust me. So,
while I am not going to recommend it, I will say keep an eye out for it in your
local DM, it’s cheap and worth trying out.
