Reviews From the Past - Part 23

By Maychiri's Thoughts - June 23, 2023

My god is it hot rn!

Since we are currently in the middle of a heat wave, I just cannot find the energy to do the kind of large hauls that I've been doing lately. And as if the scorching heat isn't enough, my health currently is adding onto that exhaustion (nothing serious or uncommon for me, it's just part of being a woman). So, with that said, I will present you with this interesting product today! And also weirdly fitting given the weather!

To get it out of the way, the shampoo is a repurchase. It is a mainstay in my bathroom; seriously, it is probably the best shampoo I had ever used! Not only does it make my hair lively and healthy-looking, it also soothes my sensitive, naturally itchy and oily scalp! It seems like my scalp is less oily and it definitely has less dandruff due to the oils present. Plus, it's hella cheap! Really anybody can afford it, and seeing how it's so much better than L'Oréal, Nivea, Love Beauty and Planet... even professional stuff like TRESemmé; 'nuff said! Seriously, TRESemmé Volume shampoo was such a disappointment compared to this shampoo, yet it costs like 5x as much. I think I'll stay with this amazing Balea shampoo for the foreseeable future, I really don't want to change it!

Now, with that out of the way, I can talk about the star of today! This deo cream was part of Biobaza's S.O.S. Save Our Sea limited edition, which was basically a charity fundraising program, as part of the profit of sales of the products would go towards Institut Plavi Svijet, specifically, their project "Plavi dupin". This is a project that monitors and studies bottlenose dolphins in the Adriatic sea, which are endangered here. I think it's a really noble goal, and as someone who is ecologically aware, and cares about animal conservation, this collection immediately piqued my interest. I really wanted to do a good deed by supporting such a good project; however, it was all a bit too expensive for me. I kinda felt like it was overpriced, especially as only a tiny fraction of it is going towards the Institut. So I decided to wait until it's 50% off. You can call me scummy for that, I won't mind. I still bought it, and that's what counts! So I finally did something good and donated money to a good charity!

Here's the only item for today:

Now, if you don't mind I'll go back into turning into a puddle of sweat (thanks summer)...

See you soon!
