Here’s the next item: the Balea Fusscreme Teebaum Öl (Foot
cream Tea tree Oil, in English)!
I realised that my feet need care, too, and this cream
seemed like it would be really good with the tea tree oil. I really liked its
ingredients list, so I ended up buying it! Let’s see if it’s any good!
Packaging: just a green plastic bottle with a matching cap.
The cap closes securely, so don’t worry about any leaking! It’s a pretty simple
packaging with a picture of feet; I mean, it is a foot cream after all!
Ingredients: glycerine, avocado (Persea gratissima) oil, olive
(Olea europaea) fruit oil, shea (Butyrospermum parkii) butter, tea tree
(Melaleuca alternifolia) leaf oil, grape (Vitis vinifera) leaf extract, camphor,
panthenol/provitamin B5, niacinamide/vitamin B3, allantoin, vitamin E, lactic
acid for nourishment. No parabens. Hoo, what a huge list of nourishing
ingredients! It’s got emollients (shea butter, olive oil), vitamins (B3, B5,
E), lactic acid, and calming, anti-inflammatory ingredients (tea tree,
camphor). So your feet will be both nourished and soft, and the chance you’d
experience any fungal infections is minimal thanks to tea tree and camphor. Fantastic
work, Balea! The scent is intense, but very refreshing. It smells aromatic, medicinal,
like tea tree and camphor, which makes sense! I really like this smell,
especially for my feet! The expiration date is 12 months after opening.
This is a white cream. Its formula is super thick and
greasy, perfect for tired feet! Normally, I would hate such an extremely thick,
heavy formula, but anything less would be way too light for my feet. Foot
creams tend to be extremely rich and heavy because of the thick skin on feet.
It is super easy to buff into the skin, and, even though it leaves a greasy,
heavy feeling, it just feels luxurious, especially when you apply it before
going to bed! Despite the heavy formula it absorbs very quickly, resulting in
relaxed, calm, and nourished feet! I love it!
So, I have been using this cream for quite a while by now, long
enough to see if there are any visible changes. I can say with certainty that
this cream makes feet softer, and it softens hard skin that you might have on
your heels, for example. It also balances the skin, making it look even and
healthy. My nails also feel stronger and healthier. I never had a fungal
infection on my feet, so I cannot say how effective this cream is for that, but
I presume it is quite effective due to the tea tree and camphor in it. All in
all, my feet feel super refreshed and healthy, even if the difference isn’t too
visible.
In conclusion, this is a fantastic foot cream! I love how
rich and luxurious its formula is and how soft it makes my skin! I think it
helps balance the skin and prevent fungal infections. This formula would
normally be way too heavy, but it’s just perfect for feet, where you’d usually
want a thicker, richer cream. The scent is wonderful, though I can definitely
see why others might not like it as much: it is intense and smells really
medicinal, and a lot like camphor. Camphor can also cause allergies, so just a
fair warning before using this cream. I love this scent, especially at bedtime,
when it’s particularly soothing. It’s just an all-around fantastic cream, and
super cheap, too! But filled with loads of nourishing ingredients, much more
than you’d ever expect such a cheap cream to have! I will recommend it
wholeheartedly!
