Balea Fusscreme Set Your Mind Free Review

By Maychiri's Thoughts - March 09, 2025

The next review is this amazing foot cream by Balea, the Fusscreme Set Your Mind Free.

I am going to be completely honest: I had been neglecting to nourish my feet in the past, thinking that I didn’t need to. But, ever since I first used a foot soak, I noticed an improvement in the condition of my feet, so I realised that I really ought to start paying attention to them. So, that lead to me buying this cream on a whim. It was part of a limited edition so if I wanted to try it out I had to buy it right away then. So, how good is it actually for feet? Let’s see!

Packaging: it comes in a plastic tube with a soothing image of balloons and clouds that match the soothing scent perfectly. I really like the design on the tube! The cap closes securely so that there is no leaking.

Ingredients: glycerine, shea (Butyrospermum parkii) butter, coconut (Cocos nucifera) oil for nourishment. No parabens. This cream has a strikingly beautiful scent: it smells intense and floral, but with a sweet undertone. I am not quite sure what flower this smells like but it reminds me of irises and a little bit of lotuses. In any case, it’s such a great scent and so relaxing, too! You know what? They weren’t wrong when they described the scent as being a “heavenly scent of lightness”! It really allows you to set your mind free and imagine that you were floating in clouds without a care in the world. The expiration date is 12 months after opening.

This is a white cream. The formula is extraordinarily heavy, be warned! It’s such a greasy and oily, slippery formula that is only suitable for feet. I would find it terribly annoying to have this heavy, greasy cast on my hands or body. It was definitely designed to be used overnight as a mask due to how heavy and greasy it is. The skin feels slippery and greasy after it has absorbed, but I don’t mind that on my feet.

Applying this cream is extremely easy given how extremely greasy and oily it is. It is super easy to spread across the skin of feet and it absorbs surprisingly fast, despite being so greasy and heavy! I actually like this type of formula for my feet as it feels like a luxurious mask, but it is definitely way too heavy to be used anywhere else on the body.

I must say that my feet have never felt so nourished and regenerated as after using this cream! My first job required me to stand and walk for 8/9 hours straight so it’s no surprise that my feet quickly became swollen, sore and tired. All the sore parts felt much better after applying this cream and my feet felt completely rejuvenated the following morning. Even the cracks on my heels disappeared by morning! So, this cream has been a godsend for my aching feet, exactly what they needed! Despite not having a long list of nourishing ingredients, it obviously has a ton of shea butter and coconut oil that heal even the most tired of feet.

Conclusion: I am so glad that I found this foot cream! Even though it is ridiculously greasy and oily and heavy, it manages to heal the skin on my feet and relax the muscles in my feet so that they feel completely refreshed the next morning and light as a feather. The smell is heavenly: it’s a floral, intense scent that relaxes the mind as well as the body, helping you fall asleep more easily. It’s definitely way too heavy and greasy to be used as a body or hand cream, and it still stays somewhat slippery in the morning. But the scent and regenerative properties of this cream make it more than worthy of a recommendation! It’s really a fantastic foot cream!
