Catrice Art Couleurs Eyeshadow [330 - Cheeky Peachy] Review
By Maychiri's Thoughts - September 21, 2025
Heya, here’s another eyeshadow single for ya to check out! The Catrice Art Couleurs Eyeshadow, in the shade 330/Cheeky Peachy!
This eyeshadow was bought in order to participate in a contest DM and Essence/Catrice were having. In order to participate, I had to buy any two Essence or Catrice products, so I decided to buy this eyeshadow, since the previous Art Couleurs were excellent, and I was sure this one would be, too.
Packaging: very simple; it’s just a clear plastic case. The lid closes securely, which you can tell by the click it makes when it is properly closed. As you can see the colour of the eyeshadow without opening, there’s really no need to open it just to swatch it on your arm. Also, you can pop out the eyeshadow from the case by pressing up from the underside, if you want to put it into a custom palette.

Ingredients: no parabens, but also no nourishing ingredients either. The scent is extremely faint, but I do smell a somewhat soapy smell. The expiration date is 18 months after opening.
The pigmentation is awesome, and really intense! This is a very summery peach colour that looks good on pale skintones. It is much more intensely pigmented than I thought it would be, though Art Couleurs are usually excellent in terms of pigmentation.
The texture is shimmery, almost metallic in how shiny it is. The formula is wonderful, though. It is super easy to use, and applies like a charm with fingers (seriously, just one layer is enough for it to look intense when applied with fingers). It is terribly difficult to apply with a brush, but shimmers do tend to be like that. The formula is very soft, at times it can feel a bit chunky, but it still ends up being really smooth.
There is absolutely no fall-out and it blends extremely easily. Thanks to the soft formula, this eyeshadow feels... well, that’s the thing, I can’t feel it on my eyelids. It is that light!
Just like the other Art Couleurs, this shade also has excellent durability. After 8 hours of wearing it I only noticed a small amount of creasing, way less than I thought there would be with such a shimmery shade. Even then, the creasing wasn’t really noticeable anyways, because of how light this colour is. It also did not fade, smudge or move down the eyelid during those 8 hours. I am really impressed!
Note: even though it might seem like it creased immediately after applying it on the photos, that wasn’t a real crease.
And then, when I went to remove it, it didn’t take more than a minute to remove it from both of my eyes. I do suspect that there would be leftover shimmer if you were to remove it using micellar water, but as I use a specialised remover, there is no chance of that happening.
Conclusion: once again, Art Couleurs demonstrates that a low-priced eyeshadow can still be fricking awesome and incredibly good quality. The pigmentation is super intense, it feels weightless on eyelids, the formula is so soft and easy to use and, best of all, it’s ridiculously long-lasting for a shimmer eyeshadow. I honestly really don’t have anything to complain about, it’s simply a phenomenal eyeshadow! And it will go beautifully with the other Art Couleurs that I already have! Absolute recommendation!
