Catrice Art Couleurs Eyeshadow [070 - Ashton Copper] Review
By Maychiri's Thoughts - September 21, 2025
Ah, what is this? It's the Catrice Art Couleurs Eyeshadow in the shade 070/Ashton Copper!
This was another one of those occasions where I was buying other stuff and found this little gem in the discount area of BIPA. It was on sale, more than 50% off, and it was the last shade on sale that I didn’t have (at that point) so, you know, I kinda had to have it! So let’s see how good it is!
Packaging: square clear plastic pan. It's well-made and the lid closes tightly. Pro tip: the pan can be popped out of the case if you want to build your own palette but it isn't magnetic.

The ingredients include vitamin E for nourishment, and there are no parabens. The scent is the same as other Art Couleurs eyeshadows, which is subtle and kind of soapy. The expiration date is 12 months after opening.
Pigmentation is excellent; it’s a pretty vibrant copper colour on my skin. I think that it might be a tiny bit too orange for my liking, though. Nonetheless, it’s a gorgeous colour!
The texture is shimmery. It applies so easily using a brush or just your fingers. And it is so easy to blend! Also, it feels pretty soft on my lids.
Longevity is excellent too; and there is just a tiny bit of creasing with no primer under it. I think that’s awesome because of how oily my lids are usually. There is just as much creasing as on shades 260 and 060, and much less than shade 110.
Removal is as easy as it can be, nothing more to say really.
Conclusion: another excellent eyeshadow from Catrice! Like the other Art Couleurs that I already have, this shade is just as good. It’s both very pretty and feels so comfortable to wear, and there is barely any creasing to boot, too! I don’t really have any negatives to say about this eyeshadow. I would recommend this super affordable copper eyeshadow to anyone who likes warm-toned brown/red shades.
