Howdy, y'all! Finally, I gathered all of my thoughts and written full reviews for this limited edition that I have been SO looking forward to!
Of course, I am talking about the Essence Yee Haw! Limited Edition!
Ever since first seeing this LE on Boozyshop, I was counting down the days until it arrived in Croatia. And man, when I saw it at Müller, I literally started giggling - FINALLY! I immediately grabbed what I wanted the most, and returned later for one more item that I decided I actually wanted (it was the Lip Beautifier). I cannot even describe how giddy I felt to finally have these items! 😁
In case you haven't read it, I have written an overview of this LE, with my first impressions of products. You can read that HERE! I am excited to see how close my current feelings towards the products are compared to the initial ones. Which items I like more and which are a let-down.
So... to save time, I won't go super in-depth into this LE here, since I already wrote that overview. But, briefly, here's the run-down. This is a cowboy-themed LE - if you couldn't guess by the name! Wonderful for mid-summer, no? This wasn't a huge limited edition, but I wanted most of the items. I skipped the brush, primer, and blush stick; the primer and blush stick because I strongly felt like my skin wouldn't enjoy either. Brush because I already have way too many brushes haha!
So what did I get?
The Eye Crayon, which is the only eye product in this LE. You can see it on the right, used with a darker rusty colour, because on its own it looked a bit too bland. I just prefer to have some colour gradient, instead of one single colour all over, if it's a light colour. I won't spoil too much here, but... suffice to say, this Eye Crayon left a lot to be desired. Sadly.
The Plumping Lip Gloss, which I had no idea would actually tingle. I bought it mostly for the little boots in the cap, which I plan to somehow take out of there. You can see in the background how this Plumping Lip Oil adds a bit of colour and some nice gloss.
The Lip Beautifier Key Chain, which was bought a few days later... I decided I actually did want the keychain accessories after all. But as you can see, the lip gloss itself is quite pretty as well! Super glossy! Again, not to spoil too much, but this was unexpectedly good!
And the Shiny Lipgloss, which looks suspiciously similar to one Essence hero product. By far, my most favourite product in this LE and one I reach for the most! What can I say, I just love these types of Essence lip glosses!
Here's a swatch of all 4 products that I bought, in two different lighting conditions. I think that one of them is with flash turned on, but I am not sure. I think the one on the left here is with flash on.
Also, make sure to check out these products in my Instagram Reels, where you can see them in action! Here's a GRWM with the Eye Crayon and the Shiny Lipgloss, and here's a swatch of all 4 products.
This swatch is with natural lighting, no flash.
Now, without further ado, the full reviews of these lovely products for today:
Hope you had fun with this; I know I had a blast testing them out and filming them!
PS: I have no idea what's happened to the font for these... the settings are all the same but it looks different...
See you soon!
