New Stuff - Part 15

July 12, 2023

Hello!

Once upon a time I had the perfect makeup remover. Nivea created an oil remover that was neither occlusive, nor too oily nor did it struggle with any type of makeup. No matter what I threw at it, it would remove it in mere seconds, and it did not even irritate my eyes! I loved it to bits and bought new bottles to replace it as I was using it - until disaster struck! Nivea stopped manufacturing that divine remover, sending me into panic and despair as I searched for an adequate replacement. I searched high and low, trying to find something that would remove makeup with ease, not irritate my sensitive eyes and not cause any breakouts on my sensitive skin.

(This is your daily reminder that it's always the fantastic stuff that goes away the soonest!)

Among the almost half a dozen removers I bought were these two. I decided to buy these two at DM because they are, supposedly, specially formulated for sensitive skin. They also claim to be safe for eyes, which is a necessity for me. I mean, ultra sensitive should be gentle enough, right??

So, these are the products for today:

Balea Med Ultra Sensitive Reinigungs Milch
Biobaza Beauty All Skin Types Cleansing Gel

New Stuff - Part 14

July 05, 2023

Hello!

This is one product I had been itching to try ever since I first saw it revealed as part of Catrice's autumn/winter 2022 refresh! As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to try it, it just seemed so interesting!

I normally use powder eyeshadows as my oily eyelids usually don't mesh well with anything creamy or liquid, usually creasing insanely very quickly (see Catrice Liquid Shadow Waterproof [050/Free Spirit] for the perfect example). But I like easy-to-use items, ones with which you don't have to use brushes or sponges or anything. They are perfect for when I have to get ready quick in the morning! Such is this eyeshadow stick, or at least should be!

Now, with that out of the way, let's finally see what the only item for today is like!

This is what I have today:

Catrice Aloe Vera Eyeshadow Stick [040/Lavender Brown]

Catrice Aloe Vera Eyeshadow Stick [040 - Lavender Brown] Review

July 05, 2023

Hello!

This is the Catrice Aloe Vera Eyeshadow Stick, shade 040/Lavender Brown!

I have been wanting this eyeshadow stick ever since it first released as part of the Catrice autumn/winter 2022 refresh. This shade in particular was a bit difficult to find, as most shops had all the other shades but this one. Fortunately, Notino had it. So I ordered it; I was so excited to try this eyeshadow out, I literally couldn’t wait to open it and start using it! So, is my eagerness warranted? Or will it end up being a disappointment? Let’s see!

Packaging: pretty simple, just a black plastic crayon with gold reflective text on it. The text isn’t the most legible because of how metallic it is; perhaps a matte colour would’ve been a better choice? Anyways, the cap fits securely, although it doesn’t really feel like it; it seems like it is loose, even after it makes a soft clicking noise. But it’s not, that’s just what it seems like.

The cap matches the colour of the eyeshadow, and, if you look closely enough, has the tiniest shimmer on it, to show you that this isn’t a matte eyeshadow, but a more metallic one. Inside, the retracting mechanism isn’t the best, really, as it seems quite flimsy.

Source: catrice.eu

Ingredients: Aloe barbadensis leaf extract, rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) leaf extract for nourishment. No parabens. The scent is a bit unpleasant, and bitter. Given that it’s perfume-free, this is to be expected; this is what the ingredients themselves smell like, without any added perfumes. Still, it’s not a nice scent! The expiration date is only 6 months after opening. Why so short?

This is a smoky, grayish medium brown that does seem like it’s got a minuscule amount of lavender tint in it. There’s a lot more silvery pigments, though. It’s a very dramatic colour but still perfectly usable for everyday use. I love how extra smoky it looks on pale skin!

The pigmentation is very intense from the first layer. Additional layers aren’t even necessary to get rich pigmentation. The texture is slightly metallic, quite shiny.

The formula is extraordinarily smooth and soft, it’s almost buttery! It literally glides across the eyelids with absolutely no tugging; though it can deposit pigment a bit sparsely sometimes. The formula also becomes crumbly after a short while.

It’s super easy to use because of the smooth, easy-glide formula, though it can look a bit patchy. It’s extremely easy to blend, way too easy, actually, as you can over-blend it if you blend just a bit too much, which just makes it look dirty smoky, not seductively smoky. I don’t know why it ends up looking patchy and crumbly in certain areas, but it’s not a nice look at all. I actually noticed that, if I blend it after about a minute has passed (so, after it has dried), it will start to crumble and be difficult to blend. So, good luck fixing any mistakes that might have happened.

Catrice claim that this eyeshadow stick is long-lasting; well, sort of, as, while it does stay on the eyelids for hours without any significant changes or fading or whatever, it’s the crease area that’s problematic. I have oily eyelids, which makes it incredibly hard for any softer eyeshadow formula or shimmery formula not to crease. Indeed, this eyeshadow creased almost immediately after applying it, and only got worse as time went on. 7 hours later it was visibly creased, though the soft colour helped to hide it somewhat. For something that is supposed to be long-lasting, this shouldn’t happen. I did notice that, if you apply a second layer of the eyeshadow over the crease, some time after the initial layer (like, say, an hour or two later), it will stop creasing for a while. However, that’s not really a solution. Really disappointing!

This eyeshadow stick is extremely easy to remove with pretty much anything, including fingers, or a dry tissue. Just swipe with a dry tissue and it is gone. Of course, a much gentler approach would be to use a cleanser, be it oil-based or a gel cleanser, or even micellar water; it only takes a couple of seconds to remove this eyeshadow completely using the aforementioned cleansers.

All in all, I am quite disappointed by this eyeshadow! I had high hopes, and they have all been squashed. And I was so looking forward to using this eyeshadow stick! The formula is super soft and almost buttery, which is fantastic on the skin and it glides easily across eyelids; therein, however, lies the crux of all the problems. Because of the too soft formula it tends to look patchy even when you try your best to make it look even, and it is especially finicky to somehow make both eyes look the same. This is also the root of the problem called creasing: this eyeshadow creases a ton, and that’s immediately after applying it; luckily, it doesn’t get a whole lot worse but it is definitely visible. If the formula wasn’t so buttery, it might not crease as much. And it’s also the reason why you can remove the eyeshadow using literally anything, even your fingers. So, yeah, the colour is quite pretty and I like the shiny, almost metallic finish, and I love the longevity (outside of the creasing, that is), it barely changes during 7 hours of wearing it. But it also becomes really crumbly not even 5 minutes after applying it, so if you try to blend it then, you will just ruin it. Speaking of which, it is, unsurprisingly, quite easy to blend with fingers or brushes (at least until it dries and becomes crumbly); however, it is also way too easy to over-blend it and make it look dirty and smudgy. I really wanted to love this eyeshadow, I really fricking did, but it is just not good, unfortunately. If you do use it, you must use a primer underneath if you want to try to prevent all the creasing. So, in the end, this eyeshadow will not be getting any kind of recommendation.

Rating: 4/10

Would buy again? NO (huge disappointment)

NAM Dazzling Desert Make Up Palette Review

June 28, 2023

Obviously, the stand-out product in this mystery bag, this is the NAM Dazzling Desert Make Up Palette.

I’m not all that into these all-in-one make up palettes, though I can definitely appreciate how useful they can be in a pinch. So when I saw this palette in the bag, after the previous one turned out not to be good at all, I wasn’t too excited. Still, let’s see if this one is any better than the Wet Look palette!

Packaging: cardboard palette with a mirror inside. It’s got a wet look to it: a reflective bluish colour in addition to the droplets makes it look like rain. Which is actually exactly the opposite of a desert, no? Perhaps it should’ve been beige, instead? Anyways, the mirror is quite large and heavy. The pans are removable! So you can pick and choose which one you like and put them in an empty palette.

Source: nammakeup.com

Ingredients: nothing nourishing but also no parabens. The scent is slightly soapy and chemical, but it is pretty subtle. The glitter has the most subtle scent, while the blush has the most intense scent. The expiration date is 12 months after opening.

Colours: mostly warm toned colours, with a champagne and gold shades. Starting from top left we have: gold multicolour glitter, champagne shimmer, carrot orange matte, tan matte, plum purple matte, peachy marbled slightly metallic shade, and a gold highly shimmery, metallic shade. The glitter, champagne shimmer and the mattes are eyeshadows, the marbled orange shade is a blush, and the gold metallic shimmer is a highlighter.

All eyeshadows

The eyeshadows are nicely matched to make a purple/golden eye look. It is actually quite pretty when you put them all together! The blush and highlighter match perfectly; gold of the highlighter and the soft peach orange of the blush look great together. The orange and golden shades definitely evoke a desert in my mind, and the purple is like a sunset in the desert. And the orange blush is like the searing heat of the desert. Quite well thought out! I like the shimmers the most, especially the champagne shimmer.

The highlighter (left) and blush (right)

Pigmentation is mostly very good. The mattes have good pigmentation, the best pigmented matte shade us the purple. They are all quite even. The marbled blush has pretty good pigmentation. The shimmers have excellent pigmentation, and are very intense! By far the most pigmented is the glitter, but, come on, it’s glitter! Glitter is almost always extremely pigmented. The mattes and blush need only a few layers to get a good, perfectly even and pigmented look. The shimmers and the glitter are extremely pigmented from the very first layer.

In terms of fall-out, the mattes, shimmers, and blush don’t have any fall-out. So, the only one that has fall-out is the glitter, and boy does it have a ton of it! It’s too coarse so it gets everywhere. It would’ve been much better if it had some creaminess to it, like Wet n Wild’s glitters do. It would make it much easier to apply. Speaking of which, the mattes are incredibly easily applied with brushes, and the shimmers can be applied with fingers or brushes, both look great. I love how easy the blush, highlighter and shimmer eyeshadow are to apply and how easy it is to get an even layer. I tried to use a brush to apply the glitter, but it’s much easier to just use your fingers. It sticks to skin, even without a primer.

The textures are mixed: you have one glitter, two shimmers, one marbled, and three matte shades. The formula of the mattes is standard, not too powdery nor too creamy, so they are super easy to use. It’s quite a good formula! The glitter is far too coarse, it’s like it is loose glitter, so it is just difficult to use. The marbled Blush has a very nice formula that blends into the skin evenly and is so easy to use and is just very good in general! The formula of the champagne shimmer is really, really good! It’s almost creamy and applies so easily with fingers and is so intense!

The gold shimmer, however, is coarser than the champagne one, and is just a tad too coarse for me. I prefer very finely milled highlighters that blend into the skin; this highlighter has particles that are a bit too large so it does slightly look like it is sitting on top of skin. It’s not very bad, and it still looks gorgeous, but it could be finer. Also, it’s really easy to overdo the highlighter because of how incredibly pigmented it is! The other products (minus the glitter) are totally buildable, so you can decide just how intense you want it to be.

In terms of how easy they are to blend, the most blendable is the blush, by far. It is super easy to blend it out perfectly! The mattes blend easily. The shimmers don’t really blend too well, so you definitely have to be careful how much you apply. The glitter cannot be blended at all, it’s just far too dry and coarse. Finally, I will talk about how comfortable the products are. The mattes, blush, and shimmers are all virtually weightless so they are very comfortable to wear. But the glitter is quite uncomfortable: it’s sharp and due to the fall-out tends to get into my eyes, making them scratchy.

It feels like plastic because of the lack of any binder that would make it gentler on skin and easier to use. I just really don’t like glitter.

Longevity is actually excellent! The blush and highlighter last pretty long on my oily skin, still having good pigmentation 6 hours later. The mattes seem to have a tiny bit of fading or creasing 6 hours in. The glitter has By far the best longevity. It had no creasing at all, which is so amazing given that it’s a glitter eyeshadow! Much better than the Wet Look palette!

Removing these products was incredibly easy. Well, everything aside from the glitter, of course. Use whatever you usually use to remove makeup, it will remove the mattes, shimmers and blush easily. However, the glitter tends to explode all over the face when you remove it. As glitter does. It is very annoying, and you will keep finding glitter on your face long after you’ve removed it.

To sum up, this is actually a really good make up palette. It’s incredibly useful if you are pressed for time and want to be done with your makeup quickly as there’s eyeshadows, highlighters, and a blush inside this palette. The pigmentation is pretty good to excellent (the shimmer shades have excellent pigmentation). Everything is very long-lasting, even the glitter, and still looks great 6 hours later. The colours are nicely matched to make an orange/purple eyeshadow look with champagne shimmer and the golden highlighter complements it very nicely. The blush is far too orange for my pale skin; it should be good for anyone with light to medium skin. I love how easy everything is to apply and how nice and even it is, especially the shimmers and the blush. I expected this palette to be bad, just like its sister palette, the Wet Look Make Up Palette. But instead it is surprisingly good and the finished look is rather nice! The only product I don’t like from this palette is the glitter, and that’s only because I dislike glitter in general. So, you know what? I will in fact, recommend it! It’s not fantastic, but it’s still pretty good!

Rating: 7.5/10

Would buy again? NO (far too orange tones for my pale skin, it’s a great palette, otherwise)

Pink Panda Kisses Lip Gloss [Smooch] Review

June 28, 2023

Alright, now for the second item in the Pink Panda Hello Spring Mystery Bag, the Pink Panda Kisses Lip Gloss, shade Smooch.

I had no expectations whatsoever about what this lip gloss would be like, even thinking that it probably won’t be too good. But that’s not good, as I might have, so to say, poisoned the well before even trying it out. So, let’s start and see whether I was in fact right from the start.

Packaging: just a small clear tube with a white cap that fits really securely. It’s quite minimalistic, to be honest.

Source: pinkpanda.hr

Ingredients: no parabens, no nourishing ingredients. The scent is fairly intense, and smells like vanilla, but it kind of smells more like chocolate, as there is a faintly bitter scent. The expiration date is 12 months after opening.

The pigmentation is actually fairly intense, much to my surprise. It’s a summery peachy colour that looks pretty good on pale skin. The formula is extremely thick, and heavy, and even though they state that it is not tacky, it in fact is, but not a lot. I also feel like a very slight pepperminty feeling, like there is a bit of a cooling sensation. In any case, it is not really comfortable to wear due to the extremely heavy formula that really just “sits” on your lips, never quite absorbing fully. I really don’t like it, especially because it feels tacky closer to the centre of the lips.

This lipgloss is pretty opaque while it is still fresh. The lip gloss always looks slightly uneven and like it is collecting on the centre of my lips. It’s also not the easiest to apply because there is no applicator, you just spread it either with your fingers or with the nozzle on the end of the tube, which isn’t terribly hygienic. I know it’s to save costs, but having an applicator really makes everything easier.

The texture is incredibly glossy and wet-looking. It definitely does not set quickly at all, and it will continue to smudge until you remove it. At least it is not one bit drying!

Another bad thing is that it is not at all long-lasting; after about an hour or so it will start to fade and Heaven forbid you actually eat or drink anything, because that will completely ruin it. I know that lipglosses tend to have worse durability than say, liquid lipsticks or even regular lipsticks, but this one lasted for a noticeably shorter amount of time before fading terribly. Also, just licking my lips a few times removed a huge amount of lip gloss, making it even more uneven looking.

There is a silver lining to this, though: it looks good, perhaps even better, when it has faded, it looks like a lip stain then. Still, this is really not good. It is extremely easy to remove, at least, and doesn’t leave a tacky feeling after removing it.

The “applicator” is, as mentioned, just the nozzle of the tube. It is elongated and very curved. It can be adequate for the application of this lipgloss, but it really struggles in tight areas, like the mouth corners or the cupid’s bow. But when applying it across the entire lower/upper lip it applies the lipgloss pretty well, except for the fact that it looks uneven. I just really prefer having an actual applicator.

Conclusion: it seems that my first thoughts were right, after all. Aside from the nice colour and the high shine, there isn’t really much that I can find to praise. Everything else is pretty average, at best. The durability is by far the worst aspect of this lip gloss, disappearing completely if you drink or eat anything, and it will start fading and looking uneven after about an hour/hour and a half. And it would be okay if it at least felt comfortable, but it is so heavy that it feels like I put a ton of Vaseline on my lips. Unfortunately, I just really don’t like this lipgloss, even though it’s not the worst one I had ever had. Maybe I did poison the well and that’s why I dislike it this much, who knows. No recommendations.

Pink Panda Nail Polish [Cutie] Review

June 28, 2023

So, today I am going to start by reviewing the Pink Panda Nail Polish, shade Cutie.

This is the second Pink Panda nail polish that I have; the previous one was fantastic. Like the previous one, this one was also a part of a mystery bag, this time called “Hello Spring Mystery Bag”, which contained 3 other items besides this nail polish. This one is spring themed and it looks really pretty! But is it as good as the Halloween version?

Packaging: clear round glass bottle with a white round cap that has little pink butterflies printed on it. It’s really cute!

Source: pinkpanda.hr

No harmful ingredients here, and also no nourishing ones either. The scent is pretty much like any other nail polish. The expiration date is 12 months after opening.

The brush is a great flat brush that picks up a ton of pigment and spreads it beautifully evenly. It is wide enough to cover my nails with just one or two swipes.

The colour: this is a beautiful light dusky rose; it looks more vibrant in the bottle than on nails. It’s a gorgeous shade for very fair skintones.

The formula is relatively thick and gelly, I kind of like it, I must admit. One coat is already pretty much opaque, so don’t apply more than two coats. I decided to apply two coats during testing. The texture is very glossy.

Staying power is not too good, regrettably. I was really hoping it wouldn’t start chipping but it did, and soon after applying it. The day after it started chipping on the edges of nails, and by the next day it started chipping on the sides too. It’s such a shame that such a pretty colour has terrible staying power. At least the chipping isn’t too noticeable since it’s a nude shade. Disclaimer: I applied this polish without a base coat or a top coat, as I always do when I am testing out polishes for the first time.

This nail polish is really easy to remove, I removed it from all of my fingernails in like 2 minutes without much scrubbing.

Conclusion: unfortunately, this shade is a bit lower quality than the Halloween one; even though it’s a gorgeous colour and the brush is awesome, and even the formula of the polish feels great, the fact that it starts chipping one day after applying and gets much worse in a few days made me feel disappointed in it. The Halloween shade set my expectations sky high, and this shade just couldn’t meet those expectations. Nevertheless, even with that, I still like this polish; the colour was surprisingly beautiful on my skin. I knew it would be pretty, but it was so much more than that; that said, it might be a bit too bright for dark skintones. If you like pinky nude nail polishes I think I would recommend this one, despite it easily chipping.

Rating: 8/10

Reviews of Gifts - Part 5

June 28, 2023

Heya!

I am doing something I haven't done in quite a while today! I will be reviewing Pink Panda's Hello Spring Mystery Bag! This was a mystery bag Pink Panda had in April of last year, which is a long time ago, I know...

I didn't review it sooner because, for the longest time, I couldn't force myself to try out the makeup palette. The few NAM products I had weren't particularly good, which made me disinterested in this palette. I shouldn't knock it already, perhaps it'll be good! Besides, it's a useful thing to have, especially when you are in a rush.

Besides that, there's a few other useful items here: a lip gloss (which might look good with the palette, in fact), a neutral nail polish, and... a hair band! Hair bands might seem like a dumb thing to put here, but if you have longer hair, you know how necessary hair elastics can be!

That said, this hair band isn't too bad at all! It is strong enough to hold my hair in place, and doesn't lose its grip over time much. It does tend to slide down my hair somewhat, so I have to keep readjusting it throughout the day. It's not horrible, honestly. However, it is easy to make it too tight, which leads to hair breakage when you go remove it. It's honestly a perfectly fine hair band, all things considered.

So, these are the 3 items in today's mystery bag (minus the hair band):

Pink Panda Nail Polish [Cutie]
Pink Panda Kisses Lip Gloss [Smooch]
NAM Dazzling Desert Make Up Palette

PS: all of the items can still be bought on Pink Panda as of the time of this writing!

See you soon!

Biobaza

Biobaza S.O.S. Save Our Sea Natural Deo Cream Review

June 23, 2023

Just one item for today, sadly. This is the Biobaza S.O.S. Save Our Sea Natural Deo Cream.

I wanted to buy something, anything from this collection ever since I first saw it at DM. Namely, this collection supports Institut Plavi Svijet (Blue World Institute), which is a charity organisation that works to protect the marine environment in the Adriatic sea. Specifically, their project “Jadranski dupin” (Adriatic Dolphin), which is a study of bottlenose dolphins in the Adriatic sea, which are endangered here. With every purchase, a small amount of money is donated to the Institute. I wanted to do a good deed and help a good charity, so, after the whole collection got marked down I finally bought the deo cream because it has this adorable sea turtle print, and I love turtles! That said, this is a totally new product for me, as I always use either roll-on deodorants or deodorant sticks. Never deodorant creams; so, let’s see how it works and if it’s good!

Packaging: the cardboard packaging is white with seafoam green text, perfectly Mediterranean! Just look at the turtle, it’s so adorable! The rest of the cardboard packaging is standard, nothing too special.

The cream itself is packaged in a metal pan. Again, just the green text and the turtle to add some interesting details to the pan. The pan has a lid that screws on, and boy does it screw on tightly! I often struggle to open it! Excellent! That makes sure the cream stays fresh as long as possible.

Ingredients: coconut (Cocos nucifera) oil, almond (Prunus amygdalus dulcis) oil, shea (Butyrospermum parkii) butter, cocoa (Theobroma cacao) butter, grape (Vitis vinifera) seed oil, vitamin E, and lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) oil for nourishment. More than half of all the ingredients are nourishing! Fantastic how there are so many emollients here. No parabens. The scent contains no perfumes, it is a natural herbal scent, smelling like a mix of sage and lavender. It’s quite an intense scent, a bit too intense for me. But it is totally summery! The expiration date is 12 months after opening.

This is an off-white cream that is super thick and creamy. The top layer was waxy but it becomes more buttery under it. It can be a bit difficult to spread, especially the top layer. I don’t know, it’s kind of weird to apply. Especially because it’s grainy? There’s some grains inside the cream that end up scratching the skin (bicarbonate soda perhaps?). That’s the weirdest and most uncomfortable thing about this cream. Even when it’s creamy, it’s still weirdly waxy and grainy and difficult to really buff into the skin.

Oh, and it’s hella difficult to wash off, even with dish detergent! Since it comes in a pan, you have to put your fingers in it to apply the cream (questionably hygienic), so you’ll have to wash it off your hands. I go wash my hands with dish detergent because it’s the closest soap I have to my room, and, I kid you not, there’s still a good deal of cream left on my hands! Like, I can still feel the greasiness of the formula. So I have to wash my hands again! Quite annoying. The deodorising agent is largely sodium bicarbonate, with the help of sage and lavender oil. Of course, bicarbonate soda is nowhere near as effective an antiperspirant as aluminium salts, at least for me. But I’ll get to that in a second. I will admit that this cream doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and it absorbs surprisingly fast. The formula is still hella weird, though, this doesn’t change that.

I usually apply deodorants before going to sleep (that way they are absorbed fully and work ideally as they should). This cream feels relatively comfortable on my skin, except for the grains always scratching up my skin. That’s not a huge deal as it doesn’t feel scratchy after it has been absorbed. By the morning it’s become virtually invisible, super lightweight and comfortable.

However, and here come the problems, this cream does not prevent me from sweating. Sure, it’s not marketed as an antiperspirant, just a deodorising cream, but I still expect at least some level of sweat control. This cream does not offer that, I still sweat pretty much exactly the same as without this cream. And since it becomes so invisible by morning, I question just how effective it can be at masking odours. Of course, I can’t really judge that objectively, but it doesn’t really seem to eliminate odours at all. The sage and lavender scent is gone by the morning, and they are what was supposed to mask the smell of sweat, so without them it’s pretty much useless.

Biobaza say that this cream “... provides a long-lasting feeling of freshness, while nourishes the sensitive skin of the armpit area. (...) [it] contains carefully selected ingredients that hydrate, soothe, and at the same time have a natural deodorizing effect.”. Yeah, about that... while I am sure that it nourishes the armpit area, and keeps it hydrated I don’t really feel that at all. It does seem to soothe irritations after shaving, which is alright. But I don’t really feel any differences in the condition of the skin of my armpits. And it doesn’t last very long at all, especially if you are wearing multiple layers of clothing like I do in autumn/winter.

All in all, this could’ve been a brilliant product. Alas, it’s quite a let-down in reality. While I like the Mediterranean scent of sage and lavender, and I guess I like that it nourishes the skin (despite not feeling any difference whatsoever). But that’s pretty much all; the formula is weirdly buttery yet waxy, with the top layer being especially difficult to work with. Once you break through it, it becomes much more buttery and smooth but there’s still some of that lingering waxiness present. Even worse, there some kind of grain/sand inside the cream, giving it a very rough, abrasive feel on the skin. That’s not at all comfortable. And it does nothing to control sweating. Look, I naturally sweat a lot, no matter what, so I need something strong to control that. This cream ain’t it, nuh-uh. I still sweat just as much as without it, and without the sage scent, which tends to evaporate in a couple of hours (or overnight) there’s nothing to mask the smell of sweat. I get it, it’s not marketed as an antiperspirant, so I shouldn’t treat it as such, but it is still very disappointing. I feel like the only thing I am doing is hydrating my skin to a degree and that’s it, which wouldn’t be bad if this were a body lotion, but it isn’t, it’s a deo cream. Before opening it, I had some doubts that it would work well on me and it seems those doubts were well-placed as it is mostly useless if you tend to sweat a lot. Too bad. Well, at least I donated money to charity, there’s a silver lining in everything, eh? And now I have a nice metal pan with a turtle on it... which is nice, right? Not a chance that I’ll be recommending this deo cream.
