New Stuff - Part 53

By Maychiri's Thoughts - February 02, 2025

Hello once again!

Today, I have some more skincare to share with y'all! As someone who constantly is battling with her own skin, I am very much aware of how important skincare is! Now, let's see here...

There's a variety of items on display; some to clean, others to help the skin. Now, none of these are new items to me; the Nivea Rose Touch cleanser is my favourite makeup remover currently, so it's a repeated purchase - as is the lip scrub. Both are so good I just keep coming back to them!

The other two items, the konjac sponge and the sheet mask, are new to the blog, but in actuality I have been repurchasing them for ages now! This is a bit of a spoiler, haha - guess now you know that I love them!

The konjac sponge was bought because I simply need them. Washing my face in the morning without one just doesn't feel 'clean' enough, it's like my face isn't properly cleansed. So, to give my face a gentle scrub that is going to clean it deeply, I resorted to using konjac sponges. They are a game-changer, honestly. Before this particular sponge, I was trying out various different konjac sponges, trying to see which one is the best... and then I found this one! Nowadays, I just stick to this one specifically as I see no reason to change it if it works well!

The face masks were bought out of necessity - I have been struggling with severe acne for years, hell, almost a decade, now. And to combat that, I resorted to trying out face masks, maybe one of them will be able to help me? I tried all sorts of different brands and all kinds of active ingredients, trying to find something that will help me. And then I remembered Skin79; I used to use their sunscreen, and I really liked it, so I thought that their sheet masks could be just as good. I carefully picked out the one that seemed like it would be the most calming. The Seoul Girl's Beauty Secret collection had 4 masks, each with a different focus, so there is one for whatever problem you might be having.

And now, here are the items for today:

See you soon!
