Here's a lil' something for this week, before I go see Thunderbolts* tomorrow (so excited yaaay)!

The receipt was loooong but there was only one cosmetics item on the list and it was this nail polish. Mostly because there was a coupon with extra loyalty card points for buying Alverde products. I was totally undecided on what to buy... I could get a hand cream or body lotion but I already have so many and besides, Alverde creams and lotions tend to be too thin for my skin. So then what?

Well, Alverde happened to have released this nail polish range relatively recently, called "Color & Care", that was one of those nail polishes that does not just colour your nails but also helps make them stronger. Never a bad thing - as long as the colour is vibrant enough and not streaky! There was a pretty good variety of colours to choose from, but I had my eyes set on a few of them. ...Yes, it was the neutrals. I am not a mum but I do love myself some "sad beige" haha! Also, the olive green was pretty interesting. I thought it might mix well with my skintone. But in the end, I decided to go the safe route and I chose the beige colour. Then I noticed it is called "Bridal Beige"... well, I am not getting married any time soon but it's always good to have a neutral, subtle nail polish!
