Reviews From the Past - Part 33

By Maychiri's Thoughts - October 26, 2023

Hello y'all!

Today is a 'one review' kind of day, but you will enjoy this one, I am sure!

As you can see, this is an Essie! I have always dreamed of having Essies and OPIs - the kind of high-end nail polish used by pro nail artists and celebrities alike. But sadly, such reputation (and, I assume, quality) comes with a price, one which has consistently been just above my reach. But I never let those dreams die... one day, I will have an Essie of my own, and until then I shall patiently and placidly wait.

My first Essie was bought at DM - a stark white colour that I grabbed because it was the only colour of the remaining few I liked. Finally, the day had come and I had an Essie of my very own! Then, as if by pure happenstance, while wandering around Müller one day, I noticed a few Essies on the shelf, marked 50% off! Was this fate, finding another Essie at such a low price?

This particular Essie is a bit older; it's part of the "Spring 2022 Collection" that had various light pastel colours, along with this gorgeous light brown. Bright, happy colours, inspired by frescos, perfect for spring. Had I been able to choose, I still think I would pick this shade. However, Müller only had two Essies on sale to choose from, so I, naturally, picked the more neutral one. The "Spring 2022 Collection" was really pretty, wasn't it? And the names were all so wonderfully uplifting and inspiring; I especially love how they incorporated flowers and birds into the names. And there is, of course, this wonderful message at the end:
