Hellooo!
Today I have two items that I bought while shopping for Christmas presents! They are both quite pretty, aren't they?
Essence and Catrice (being sister brands) are both known for having many, many limited editions, with new ones coming out almost monthly (sometimes even more often). These two are proof of that - as sometimes, there can be two LEs at the same time. Although, I was super lucky to snatch the brush set, Essence LEs usually sell out within like 2 days at my local Müller!

The serum is part of a special collaborative LE between Essence and Catrice that releases a few times a year with new items, but always a similar theme. Namely, the theme is Disney! I'm a Disney kid, so I'm drawn to these collections like a moth to a flame, and I always end up loving them! This LE was called Disney Princess Sisterlove, a collection that had had a few different iterations over the years, but this time it featured three Disney Princesses on Essence's side and three on Catrice's side. Catrice had Ariel, Belle and Pocahontas. This serum, specifically, came in those three variants (Ariel/Belle/Pocahontas), with each variant having different ingredients and different benefits for the skin. I chose this one because I liked that it had rose water and niacinamide. The LE, as a whole, is giant and full of all kinds of products, both makeup and skincare, so there's something for everyone! Side note: it seems like this particular Disney Sisterlove LE had a subtitle of "Ultimate Princess Celebration".

The brush set was part of an LE called Wish Upon a Star... let me tell you, the name is absolutely fitting! Every single piece of this LE was either sparkly like stardust or gold, or had star motifs. As soon as I saw the LE I knew I had to buy at least a few of the items... in the end, I was able to buy the eyeshadow palette, the lip balm, and, of course, this brush set! This LE perfectly encapsulated that magical feeling that December always brings... those nights spent wishing on shooting stars that you'd get just the things you wanted for Christmas! This was definitely one of the more beautiful LEs Essence have had in recent history, for sure!
So, here are the two items for today:
See you soon!
